About MK

Hi, and welcome to HIIT Performance Training!  I'm MK, a Green Mountain native who made my way back to the area in 2019.  As a child, I did as many sports and activities as possible, from swimming to lacrosse.  I Nordic skied and ran at Northern Michigan University from 2012-2014, before transferring to the University of Vermont to study Nutrition and Food Science while also Nordic skiing and running.  I ended my skiing career in 2016 as a 3x NCAA All-American; a forever goal since beginning Nordic skiing at the age of 15.  After graduating in 2017, I decided to lean into my passions: fitness, health, and nutrition.  In 2018, I became a NASM CPT (National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer) in Denver, Colorado.  It was there that I worked at F45 and dabbled in the western fitness industry.  Fast forward to life in Vermont. I started coaching at one of Burlington's finest boutique fitness studios, REV Indoor Cycling.  While coaching a few classes at REV, I worked full-time at Noom as a health coach and manager. Always one to follow my intuition, I parted ways with Noom and recertified with ACE (the American Council on Exercise) in order to continue my education.  My husband and I completely renovated our gym (and we think it's pretty amazing). If you are hesitant to begin personal training or have concerns about the cost, do not hesitate to reach out. This gym is designed to cater to everyBODY, every budget, and every level.

When I'm not in the gym, you will find me gardening, cooking, enjoying a glass of wine/experimenting with a cocktail, or just relaxing with my husband Kevin (he’s no slouch…he's a 2x Olympian) and our fur children, Khyber (dog) and Moose (cat).
